What is strong authentication?
Strong authentication refers to systems that require multiple factors for authentication and use advanced technology, such as one-time passwords or digital certificates, to verify a user's identity.

A common example of multi-factor authentication is your ATM card or bank card. This requires something you have (your card), and something you know (your PIN).
