SafeWord® for Check Point is OPSEC Certified
Strong authentication and positive identification for trusted Check Point connections
Protect against weak passwords with SafeWord for Check Point
Remote users accessing their networks through Check Point VPN solutions can do so safely with Secure Computing's SafeWord for Check Point. This offering, released concurrently with Secure Computing's OPSEC™ (Open Platform for Security) certification, allows secure access to Check Point's VPN-1® Pro and Check Point Express®. OPSEC certification from Check Point guarantees that SafeWord for Check Point works seamlessly with Check Point's over 153,000 VPN installations. SafeWord for Check Point installs quickly, and integrates with Check Point's user management system through the Smart OPSEC Manager framework, which provides centralized event-logging, reporting, monitoring and management via Check Point's Security Management Architecture (SMART™).
The SafeWord Check Point solution offers Secure Computing SafeWord for Check Point-branded tokens, which generate new passcodes for every user login. The authentication server software, the main engine behind the tokens, provides strong authentication for remote Check Point VPN connections, and the solution uses an organization's existing Check Point user management directory or Microsoft Active Directory, so there is no need to create redundant user accounts in a separate database-saving administrative time and money. It is fully managed through a plug-in to either the Check Point SMART or Microsoft Management Console, for easy token and user record management.
SafeWord for Check Point installs rapidly, and can be run on servers you already have in your network.
