Central Management Console
Centralized Management Console (CMC) is the ideal enterprise solution for managing multiple Secure Mail gateway email security appliances. CMC provides centralized management of any combination of multiple Secure Mail, web mail, and/or encryption deployments.

The CMC is designated as the "master" appliance. It allows an administrator to create databases of policy and configuration settings that can be "pushed" to one or more of its "slaves." From the CMC, the email administrator can centrally manage updates available to the slave machines. Likewise, the CMC can centrally receive all slave-generated logs, reports, and alerts, and process them accordingly. A dashboard allows the administrator to view all essential slave appliance services from within one window.
The master and slave communication is mediated via private key/public key authentication, uniquely created for each CMC and its Secure Mail slaves. (No CMC or any other mechanism can decrypt another CMC/Secure Mail key).
Central Quarantine Server
Secure Mail Central Quarantine Server (CQS) is the ideal solution in enterprises that have multiple IronMail appliances and high email message volumes (perhaps 200K - 400K messages per day). When an administrator wants to quarantine messages for up to 30 days, CQS enables those quarantines to be handled separately, thereby reducing the disk space and processing requirements on the main Secure Mail appliance(s).
